NCC Construction Sweden has signed an agreement with Sweden’s National Road Administration worth US$100M for a section of the Norrortsleden Highway in northern Greater Stockholm. Work on the 7km section, which includes a 1km long tunnel, is expected to take three years. All of the various sections of the highway are planned to be opened in a joint ceremony in the autumn of 2008. Planning is starting this month with work due to get underway by the summer.
