This year’s conference and exhibition organised by German research institute STUVA was held last month at the Frankfurt Congress Centre.
The traditional focus for underground construction specialists from the German speaking countries, this year’s event attracted over 1200 delegates from 14 countries in addition to the Federal Republic itself.
The accompanying technical exhibition comprised almost 80 stands, featuring a wide range of contractors, manufacturers, consultants and client organisations.
This year’s event also saw the retirement of long-standing chairman of the STUVA board, Professor Günter Girnau.
