The cabling is to be done in the Railway Tunnels Number Two, Four, and Six, in the Tunnel System Number Five and also along the motorway between the northern entry of the Tunnel System Number Three and the southern entry of the Tunnel System Number Five.

"We are charged with switching over all the facilities of the combined route to permanent power supplies within a very short period," said Gennady Dmitry, chief power engineer of the Sochi Division of Stroy-Trest. "Given the length of the route, the operations have been deployed along the entire route, and in some areas the work has already been done. For example, the power transmission lines along the motorway have been installed to the southern entry of the Tunnel System Number Three; all transformer substations and outdoor lighting systems have been installed. Cables have been also installed in the Tunnel Systems Number One and Three where shakedown operations are conducted now."
