Tunnel conveyors are continuously extendable and work at up to 99 per cent availability.

The vertical conveyor system is of the sandwich type, which uses two opposite belts to trap the spoil between them and transport it to the top. TunnelTec again: “This system is of compact design, allows steep inclines and is easily maintained and serviced.”
TunnelTec says that by using its tunnel conveyor, an optimal transport system can build up for the project. “Additionally, full service for tunnel construction projects from consulting, project planning up to construction and sale, as well as initial operation of tunnel construction equipment can be offered,” it concludes.
