It is also flexible enough to be easily integrated into permanent remote monitor stations using auxiliary power,” says the company.
Instantel’s latest product is the InstaLink, which facilitates web based vibration monitoring. InstaLink automates the process of transferring vibration data from the vibration monitor to a secure web site for viewing by approved stakeholders. Instantel believes it is “ideal for projects with time-sensitive reporting requirements, or for sites that have many monitoring points.” The company adds: “the InstaLink system has proved popular in tunnelling applications, where downloading of data can be problematic given the long cable lengths and issues involved in manually collecting data from an instrument located in a tunnel.”
