Dragages (HK) has won a contract to construct four cable tunnels in Hong Kong with a total length of 5.1km. The largest at 3.2km long and 3m diameter will be bored under the Chi Man Wan Peninsula from Tai Long Wan to Pui O Wan using a hard rock TBM. The other tunnels will utilise drill and blast on one and pipe-jacking using a mixed ground TBM on the remaining two. Completion is scheduled for early 2005.
