Insituform Technologies, a UK-based sewer and pipeline renovator, announced last month that it had acquired Sewer Services. Jon Newton, Insituform Technologies director, said Sewer Services has “an excellent reputation within the water, canal, highway, and rail industries for providing sound, well-engineered and cost-effective solutions to the challenges associated with efficient infrastructure renewal”. The new division will specialise in the renovation of man-entry sewers, culverts and pipelines. Grouting, man-entry surveying and shaft construction, will also be undertaken.
