Song Da Construction Corporation, part of Vietnam’s construction ministry, started work in early May on the construction of a US$9.8M 500m long tunnel through Ngang Pass in central Ha Tinh province under a build-operate-transfer franchise. Construction of the 11.5m wide tunnel is expected to take two years after which Song Da Construction will collect toll revenue for the following 18 years.
