The Balfour Beatty/Costain JV has won the $175M, design and build contract for the 2km long Stonehenge Tunnel in the UK. The tunnel forms an integral section of the 10.8km long widening section of the A303 in Wiltshire. Construction is scheduled to start in 2005.
