Four weeks after the start of preparations for the trade fair, STUVA said more than 147 exhibitors have made confirmed bookings to participate, and more than 3,000 tunnel-sector professionals are expected to attend.
The organisers say the conference and expo offer all participants, exhibitors and visitors an opportunity to establish and intensify their international industry contacts. Visiting the trade fair is free of charge.
As is usual with the STUVA conference, a lively and diverse programme of technical papers will be on offer. Among the many subjects covered will be cavern construction, mechanised tunnelling, refurbishment, health and safety, sustainability, BIM, and difficult ground conditions. Numerous major international projects will be presented, such as Cross River Rail, Brisbane; New Dresden-Prague line; Brenner Base Tunnel; and the extension of Berne RBS Station.
On Friday 26 November, conference participants will be able to join one of a selection of specialist tours to ongoing tunnel projects in the Karlsruhe area. More details HERE.
Registration for the conference is now open and an ‘early-bird’ rate will be available until 30 September. Further details are available HERE
