Angle Plant (UK) Limited has established a new tunnelling/no-dig division, providing the industry with a one stop tunnelling shop. The new division has become the main distributor for Barbco Horizontal Auger Boring & Directional Drilling machines and Bolder Underground’s Tru-Grade micro horizontal directional drilling machine. To complete services the division also provides: tunnel shields; mixer and grouting pans; pipejacking systems; grouting equipment; general tunnel fabrications; shaft sinking rings; railtrack and rolling stock. The company expects to launch a dual purpose tunnelling machine, suitable for soft or hard ground and adaptable for 1.2m i.d. to 2.1m i.d. linings. This will go some way to providing a solution to the problem of vibration white finger.
