Gaza has been pressured by the fall of Mohammed Morsi, President of Egypt. Much of the Palestinian region’s supplies come through ‘illegal’ tunnels to Egypt, and the chaos of the Egyptian coup is passed directly to Gaza.
Supplies will not be the only concern for Hamas. If tunnels are closed, Palestinian officials will collect taxes instead.
