TBC will construct the winning proposal free of charge using its Prufrock TBM.
The competition entries will be judged on their usefulness; stakeholder engagement; and technical, economic, and regulatory feasibility.
Submissions must include a general description of the proposed tunnel and rationale for construction; the project benefit; and location. Bonus points will be awarded for data on subsurface conditions along the proposed alignment.
Entries must be submitted to tunnelvision@boringcompany.com by the deadline of February 23. The winner will be announced on March 23.
