The TBM arrived at Fondeyre Station on Monday after boring more than 1km from the future La Vache-Le Grand Marché station.

The TBM will soon resume its journey to excavate a further 1.4km of tunnel towards the Ponts Jumeaux Station.

Once it arrives at Ponts Jumeaux Station, the TBM will be dismantled and transported back to the future La Vache-Le Grand Marché station to undertake a 2.1km section towards the future Raisin Station.

The TBM shield will be transferred by road convoy from Ponts Jumeaux to its departure station, and the five trailers will be transported through the tunnel.
