The International Symposium on Tunnel Safey and Security is inviting poster submissions for next year’s event in Sweden.
The 12th International Symposium on Tunnel Safety and Security (ISTSS 2027) will be held from April 7-9, 2027 in Gothenburg.
Applications for the poster presentation should be a two-page extended abstract submitted through the submission portal. The deadline is December 15.
Accepted poster abstracts will be included in the symposium proceedings and the ISTSS Best Poster Award will be awarded for technical quality and presentation.
One author of each accepted poster can register at a reduced fee as a “Speaker” delegate.
The symposium will also organise a special poster session, which will begin with brief presentations by the poster presenters to the audience.
ISTSS 2027 will be part of Safety Week, bringing together three international conferences under one roof: ISTSS, the International Conference on Fires in Vehicles (FIVE) and The Battery Safety Conference.
Safety Week will gather researchers, industry professionals, authorities and emergency responders to discuss current challenges and the latest developments in tunnel, vehicle and battery safety.
Registration for the event is open and super early bird tickets are available until October 8.
