This year is the seventh edition of the Awards and entries can be submitted into the following eight categories:
- Major Project of the Year (more than €500m)
- Project of the Year (€50m-500m)
- Project including Renovation of the Year (under €50m)
- Technical Innovation of the Year
- Beyond Engineering (making underground works projects even better)
- Oddities of the Underground
- Innovative and Contributing Underground Spaces
- Young Tunneller of the Year (born after 1 January 1986 and must have made an outstanding contribution to tunnelling).
