TBM Berthe de Puybusque made the breakthrough at the future Ponts Jumeaux station, marking the end of its first drive.
This first section of 2.54km – out of the 4.66km of excavation planned – was marked by crossing the Fondeyre station before reaching the end of the drive at Ponts Jumeaux.
The TBM will now be returned to its starting point, the La Vache Gare – Le Grand Marché station, from where it will start its second drive towards the future Raisin station.
